We recently launched a new recreational real estate search engine with Ducks Unlimited, the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to conserving North America’s continually disappearing waterfowl habitats. Located on the Ducks Unlimited website, the United Country property locator connects conservation-minded buyers with prime recreational real estate across the nation. Through this tool, site visitors can view featured properties and initiate personal searches for hunting and recreational properties currently available for purchase.
In addition to highlighting some of the country’s best real estate, the new United Country property locator will also provide financial support to Ducks Unlimited. When buyers find and purchase properties through the property locator, United Country will make a significant donation to Ducks Unlimited.
“United Country has partnered with Ducks Unlimited for years and our latest endeavor is an extension of our commitment to promote conservation and land stewardship,” said Dan Duffy, chief executive officer of United Country Real Estate. “We’re fortunate to be in a position to assist Ducks Unlimited in their mission and at the same time unite buyers and sellers of recreational real estate.”United Country and Ducks Unlimited most recently teamed up during the 73rd Annual DU National Convention held in Gaylord, Texas, May 26-30. United Country conducted the organization’s annual live and online benefit auction that raised nearly $140,000 to support DU conservation projects. In 2007, Ducks Unlimited and United Country announced their national partnership focused on educating real estate professionals, auctioneers and land buyers and sellers about land conservation, habitat protection through conservation easements, opportunities to volunteer and charitable giving.
“United Country is in a unique position to not only raise funds to support DU’s vision, but also to promote responsible and long-range land stewardship issues across the United States. We’re grateful for their commitment to supporting our mission and we highly value this strong partnership between our organizations,” said Philip Milburn, director of marketing and corporate relations with Ducks Unlimited.Information about the Ducks Unlimited mission as well as donation and membership options can be found at www.Ducks.org.
